What can I do when I'm there?

Lots! There are 36 acres of beautiful parkland to explore as well as the opportunity to discover the history of the abbey itself. We have costumed guides who give regular free tours between March and September plus a museum and gift shop. Visit our Sample Itineraries page to find out more. We also have various events throughout the year from theatre to concerts, workshops to exhibitions.

Can I get married at the abbey?

No you can't be married here but you can have your wedding photographs taken with the ruins as a spectacular backdrop. Visit our Weddings page to find out more.

Can I have my lunch at the abbey?

We have an outdoor café during the summer or you can bring a picnic.

Can we film at the abbey?

Yes but we need to know about it first as we do have a photo and filming policy - email info@glastonburyabbey.com for more information.

Can we take photographs when we visit?

If they are for personal use, yes. If they are for commercial use - please contact us first on info@glastonburyabbey.com.

Do you offer a service for schools or colleges?
