Extravaganza - latest news
The 21st Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza is set to be a fantastic summer evening with great music and food, says organiser Michael Eavis.
Brian Wilson, with Al Jardine, co-founders of the Beach Boys, will be bringing the legendary album Pet Sounds to the stage with Grammy-award winning singer Corinne Bailey Rae and the Black Dyke Band also performing in the stunning grounds of the Abbey.
The night will finish with a traditional firework display at around 10pm.
Michael says: “We’re delighted to have such a brilliant line-up for our 21st event; the years have just flown by. I hope we can fly a few more! I’m so pleased that so many people are wanting to come and tickets have been selling really well.
“Gates open at 4:30pm and you are welcome to bring picnics but we also have a super range of food traders including sausage rolls, paella, French crepes, pizzas and of course our well sought after bar!
Some tickets are still available via www.glastonburyabbey.com/extravaganza or at the Abbey Shop - please come and join us!
Advance tickets are £35 for adult and £20 for children aged six to 16 – the price goes up on the gate – if there are any left – to £40 and £25.
