Make a fat ball for the birds - Family Activity
Wednesday 19th February 2020
Where: Abbey Museum
This is a messy fun session creating fat balls for the garden birds. You will be using lard, bird seed and hemp string. There will also be vegan friendly vegetable fat if you prefer.
You’ll mix and roll the fat and bird seed into a ball, poke a hole through the middle and attach your hemp string hangar, then plop it on a cardboard holder to take home and pop in your fridge to set. It can then be taken outside and hung on a tree branch or bird table for the birds to enjoy.
This is a family activity; all children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session.
All included in admission price, no need to book.
This family activity takes place between 11am-1.00pm on Wednesday 19th February in the Abbey Museum.
