Terms of recovery appeal raffle 2021

1. By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.
2. The prize draw is being run by Glastonbury Abbey.

Eligibility to enter

3. The prize draw is open to entrants over 16 years of age.
4. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
5. Tickets cost £5 and payment must be made prior to be entered into the draw.

How to enter

6. The prize draw will include all paid for ticket entries submitted prior to 11:59pm (GMT) Sunday June 27th. Entries after that time and date will not be included in the draw.
7. To enter the prize draw you must purchase a ticket, either in person at Glastonbury Abbey (or other outlets) or online at www.glastonburyabbey.com
8. Glastonbury Abbey will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.
9. Memberships and Night at the Abbey Tickets are subject to separate terms and conditions, applied at time of draw.

The prize

10. a) First prize: One lifetime membership. Separate terms and conditions apply. Non-transferrable, non-inheritable. Not for resale.
b) Second Prize: Single one year Glastonbury Abbey Membership Plus. Separate terms and conditions apply.
c) Third Prize: Single one year Glastonbury Abbey Membership. Separate terms and conditions apply.
d) Three runner-up prizes: One pair of Night at the Abbey Tickets, for 2021. Separate terms and conditions apply.
11. The winner will be drawn at random.
12. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-inheritable and no cash alternatives will be offered. Membership permits entry only during times when the abbey is publicly accessible
13. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
14. The decision of Glastonbury Abbey regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 

Winner announcement

15. The winner will be notified after July 1st.
16. Glastonbury Abbey will attempt to contact the winner up to two times within 14 days of the draw.
17. If the winner does not respond within 14 days of final notification, they will lose their right to the prize, and Glastonbury Abbey reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner or not offer the prize.

18. Please allow 14 days for delivery of the prize. Alternative collection or delivery arrangements may be made through mutual agreement.

Data protection and publicity

19. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by Glastonbury Abbey for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.
20. All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us at info@glastonburyabbey.com
21. The winner agrees to the release of their first name and town/city to any other prize draw participants if requested via Glastonbury Abbey.
22. All personal information shall be used in accordance with Glastonbury Abbey’s Privacy Notice.

Limitation of Liability

24. Glastonbury Abbey does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, save that Glastonbury Abbey does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.
25. Glastonbury Abbey does not provide any form of practical support for this prize. On receipt, all responsibilities are that of the prize winner.

General

26. Glastonbury Abbey reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
27. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
