Explore legends and history in the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey. Your education visit to the Abbey will include a Guided Tour led by one of our costumed presenters and full access to the Abbey grounds and Museum.
During the tour visitors will discover the myths, legends and amazing history of the famous Abbey. Hear the stories of King Arthur, Joseph of Arimathea and learn about the story of the dissolution during the reign of King Henry VIII.
We can provide pre-printed worksheets that are available in English, French and German, with teacher’s notes also available.
Current Prices:
Admission rate (Age 15 and under): £5.50 per student
Admission rate (Age 16 and over): £7.25 per student
One free adult for every ten pupils - additional adults are £7.00 each
Coach drivers are also admitted free of charge.
