Are you ready to step back in time? Our team of costumed living history presenters are here to meet and greet visitors and help you experience the abbey from a new angle, complete with tales and myths of ages past.
Free Guided Tours
Our living history team lead short guided walks around the main attractions of this ancient monastic abbey. Come and learn about the legends of the abbey and the pilgrims who flocked to worship here, or discover the amazing connections between the Tales of King Arthur and Glastonbury Abbey!
Guided tours last approximately 30-45 minutes and are included in your abbey admission. Please note, the tour will be conducted outside in the abbey grounds and will involve a moderate amount of walking.
If you would like to be part of a tour, please meet at the model in the museum. Our Ticket Office staff can point you in the right direction.*

Group Tours
We can arrange private talks and tours for booked groups to fit in with your itinerary. Private tours cost £50 per group and must be arranged in advance. Please see the Group Bookings page for more information.
