Changes to Membership - Free Child Visits

From Monday 19th May, all Glastonbury Abbey Members will be able to bring up to four children with them for free when they visit. This means that children 15 and under will no longer need their own membership cards to visit the abbey with their parents or family friends.

If you currently have an Adult, Joint Adult, Over 60 or Student Membership:
Your Membership will continue as is for as long as it is valid with the only change being you can now bring up to 4 children for free when you visit the abbey.

If you currently have a Family 1 or Family 2 Membership you will no longer need to scan your child’s Membership card(s) when you visit. Please scan your own Membership card(s) as usual, and the Admissions team will log the number of children entering with you. Your Membership will continue as is until the end of your Membership period; if you choose to renew your Membership at the end of this period, it will be converted to the relevant Membership type.

All other terms and conditions of membership still apply as do the terms of entry to the site. Children must be under close supervision at all times while on site and cannot enter or leave the site without an adult present. Membership remains a consumer product and is not intended to be used by tour guides, schools, organisations or groups.
